March 1st saw the launch of a limited editionĀ  t-shirt collection created by “For” for Jaspal. Showcasing the work of 11 artists the collection includes over 30 different t-shirt desings. I have three shirts in the collection, one unisex shirt featuring my PAL design and two shirts for the ladies, one of which is an all over print. Be sure to stop by Jaspal to check out the entire line. The store in Siam Center also features sculptures designed by each artist.

Wrap it up

photo

Why should packaging last longer than food?

Why isn’t packaging made to order just like the food it carries?

What smells and other unseen effects does packaging impart on our food?

Exploring these questions, I transformed recognizable containers from fast food chains by recreating them with banana leaves, a traditional Thai packaging material. The 7-11 ham & cheese container turned out to be one of the best looking and fully functional results of these investigations.
